Zucchini - Steamed

Hey there food trippers, how do you prepare a zucchini? I learned this dish from my SIL Chris. She steam zucchini with tomatoes, onions, bell pepper, bacon bits, alt and pepper to taste and top it with mozzarella cheese when done. Another way to prepare it is by frying it like a tempura or something (battered zucchini).

It's very easy to prepare and it's faster. It is the healthy way to prepare and it is so yummy!

  1. I prepare my zucchini with a lot of potatoes with parmesan cheese and herbs(thyme&rosemary)and broil.Yours looks yummy!!

  4. this looks yummy, Rose; I prepare mine by sauteeing it with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.

    sorry nga pala kasi yung nostalgia entry ko ma le late this week; bukas ko na gagawin kasi pini fix pa yung desktop ni hubby eh, very slow kasi at nag pi freeze :-)

  5. Mukhang masarap ang luto na yan, kaya lang wala akong nakikitang zucchini sa Pinas. Akala ko dati ang zucchini ay pasta, hehehe, ay tanga si ako, lol. Anyway, mahilig talaga ako sa veggies lalo na yung malutong at sariwang sariwa pa. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  6. I cannot cooked meat with cheese here! I have zucchini and pastrama sounds perfect but I cannot put cheese on it! Gosh, bawal sa religion nila .. respeto lang din ako hehehe!
