After we shopped for some oriental goodies, I made us a pan of bicol express. I altered it my normal way of cooking it by adding some pineapple chunks. I thought that hubby won't like it but I was surprised that he did! He even liked it more than the normal way of preparing it.

I love ginataan dishes, and my super favorite is the Pinangat! I still haven't eaten Bicol Express (ang natikman ko yung de-lata), pero isa ito sa mga gusto kong matikman talaga.

Hi Pagan Sphinx, I think you can also add shrimp. This one is a combination of shrimp paste and pork.
