Chicken and Mushroom

I bought a casserole  seasoning mix at walmart when we last shopped there and  made a home style chicken and mushroom for the first time.
You will need:
1 cup uncooked regular long grain rice
1pck seasoning mix
i can slice mushroom, drained
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup water

Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 375F.  Place rice, mushrooms, peas and butter in 13x9x2-inch baking dish.  Top with chicken.
2.  Mix milk, water and seasoning.  Mix until well-blended.  Pour over chicken and rice.  Cover with foil.
3.  Bake 45 min. or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.  Let stand 5 mins.  Cut chicken into serving size pieces.  Stir rice before serving.
I predicted that it would suck but it actually turned out good.  My man loved it and so were the kids.

Have a safe and fun weekend everyone.
Just remember....

that a little bit of this
and a little dash of that
makes a sumptuous life..

so Spice Up Your Life..

  15. It looks so good and yummy. For a first timer to this kind of dish, you passed your test with flying colors. That means you are a consummate cook able to churn out a yummy dish even for the first time. Kung baga sa musika, oido or by musical ear. Thanks for the yummy post. God bless you all always.
