Peanut Brittle

My  father-in-law visited  us yesterday and he brought me some peanut  brittle.  He said that  my SIL Jill sent it to him, he likes it but he can't really  eat too much of it as it is kinda hard for him.  Well Dad, I greatly appreciate this as I love peanuts lol..

Our daughter brought this art work that she made in school.  The "Give Thanks" table stand, turkey and a table mat.
Below is a link you can check out  from parenting.com.

Parenting Tip of the Day
Avoid the panic of roasting a turkey by butterflying your bird -- essentially flattening it so that it cooks faster and more evenly. If you’re feeling squeamish, ask your butcher in advance if he’ll do it for you.

NOT a sponsored post.

Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Take care in gobbling those  foodies!

  1. Hmmmmmmm.... yummy! yummy! Looks like you guys are ready for the Thanksgiving dinner. May you enjoy your day! She did great with that turkey project. So cute!

With every holiday, so far I don't have to worry about preparing or anything since all we have to do is to show up hungry. hahaha... I would say that if someone is cooking for a large family, cooking two medium turkey would probably be a good way to do instead of cooking a whole large turkey. It would cook faster and nothing to be panic about. hehehe.. I love butterflying the bird as well. Happy Thanksgiving!

  8. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. The peanut brittle look a little odd. It looks more like buco pie or something else rather than peanut brittle. Iba siguro ang style nang peanut brittle diyan sa States, lol. Yes, the stuffing makes for the quality of the roasted turkey. The sauce also add to the quality of the roasted turkey. Rylie had some great art works from school. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
