With the high cost of beef these days, we only buy it when it is on sale. We are starting to substitute it with other kinds of meat. My husband loves beef so once in a while I make sure to find the ones that fits our budget.

This dish is so good to eat with newly baked rolls or in our family, with rice.
That looks delicious--kind of like a beef stew which I happen to like. Yes, Beef is getting expensive and I also only buy it when it is a decent price which is not all that often unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteThis dish we call it in the Philippines Beef Menudo. The pictures looks delicious and mouth watering. I agree sis, beef is very expensive. Last week I crave for grilled beef and paid $19 something for less than two pounds only.

ReplyDeleteI've never had Kalua Braised beef before, I've actually never cooked with beer besides when I do it with crab legs. I will have to give your recipe a try.

ReplyDeleteI love my beef.. and not so much chicken.. but we're finding that we just end up eating a ton of carbs when we don't have beef. i'm sure this is delicious. i love cooking with beer, but never tried with kahlua.
