A visit at the Zoo once a year is a great idea for family bonding. Not only that you get to see different critters, you also get the educational benifits that it offers especially for the kids. Below is one of the many shots we took during our recent visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo.
- It's the second day of VBS and the kids woke up a little late. I think, they were exhausted from their activities yesterday. Mr. Burrito is very much willing to go back though. I thought that he would say, "I don't want to go today" but I was wrong.
- The strong wind that we had yesterday blew some of the trellis that hubby and I put at our trumpet vine so I fixed it this morning. The veggies and flowers were all down but I think they'd be fine especially that they have that good amount of rain water.
- I picked a full basket of green beans today, woot!
- I have to get off here in a minute to cook some zesty lunch before we fetch the kids from school.
It is years since I have been to a zoo. I used to love them. Diane.

ReplyDeleteYour post touched a chord. I used to love zoos as a child but hadn't been to one for years. Last year finally I revisited the zoo with my the four-year-old twins and what a complete pleasure it was. Great place for kids as well as adults.
