I tried making beef stroganoff using the sauce mix that I bought. I modify the recipe a little bit. Instead of using sour cream, I used cream of mushroom because I also added some fresh chopped mushroom. I chopped a little bit of mint and sprinkled cayenne on top. It was delicious.

One of my favorite recipes. My friend Dawn lived in Haiti and gave me a similar recipe years ago! I use both cream of mushroom soup and sour cream! Looks delish!

I once learned that the secret to true stroganoff was unbelievable amounts of paprika, but I broke up with the girl who had the recipe :-) My ABC Wednesday this week is Begonia Pope.
