Snowman, Scarf, and More 365/336

We ate most of the time at our kitchen table, soour dining room serves as storage area for bags, and kids stuff lol. I cleaned  and dressed it up a little bit for the holiday.
These Christmas  wares were left to me by the former owner of this  house that we bought.  I was surprised when our  real estate agent  told us that we can have everything  that was left inside.
A friend of mine from Japan sent me this cookie bowls, there's another bowl inside it.
These set of four Christmas plates  was given to me by my Korean friend when we were still in South Korea.
A Filipina I met through a friend gave me  this snow man cookie jar a couple of years ago.
These are the containers I bought from a garage sale a few months back.
A Filipina friend from the Philippines sent me the red scarf that has my name  on it (top).  Then the one below was personally made by my sister-in-law Chris with my initials in it.
December 2, 2011:

  • I gave our dog, Champ, a good bath today.  We are trying to get rid of  his flea so I bathe him every weekend  using a  shampoo that kills  flea and tick.
  • I made a pan of pizza after  I took a shower and now we are  getting ready to go to the mall.
  • We did a little shopping using the   gift cards that I redeemed  last month.

Christmas Tree Cookies 365/340 and 341

We bought the kids a pack of Christmas cookie dough and we baked it yesterday.
December 6, 2011:

  • I got so busy preparing all the  letters to be mailed.  I ran out of  personalized cards wahhh.
  • We got the  Sarri's candy  orders and delivered some of it with my kids.
  • Mr. Burrito and I did some coloring and writing today.

December 7, 2011:
  • Hubby went to the courthouse and renewed the registration of our vehicle.
  • I gave Mr. Burrito some  spelling  lessons today.
  • We visited  Dad and SIL Chris, also delivered their candies.
  • We received the costume that my  daughter is going to wear during the Christmas play.  It is nice to be part of the activities but the expense is inevitable.  Costumes are not  cheap and  you only get to use it once wahhh.  Oh well.
  • When we came home,  we cut hubby and son's hair.
  • Now, I am still doing laundry, I might not  finish it tonight as I am already sleepy.

Shrimp Scampi and Milk Bubble - 365/344 and 345

We tried the shrimp scampi that you  can buy in a box but we didn't like it.  Me and the kids are not fond of garlic and  the  garlic in it is too strong for us.  Hubby on the other hand likes garlic but he is not fond of shrimp.
Ms. Burrito's voice was  becoming hoarse so I made her some ginger tea to drink, now she's okay.  I tried to give my son  some but he'd rather some milk.
December 10, 2011:

  • We attended  a filipino gathering  at the Brady's residence.
December 11, 2011:
  • We visited  Dad after attending mass at noon and then came back home.
  • I just got done  doing my laundry, folded everything and now ready to zzzz.  Will put  the clothes away tomorrow.
  • Hubby has to leave early tomorrow for his final test so I have to take Ms. Burrito to school.  Hopefully Mr. Burrito will wake up early.

Nut Cracker 365/343

I bought this nut cracker at a thrifty store for $3. It's a nice thing to have considering that we love nuts at home.
December 9, 2011:

  • I gave  Mr. Burrito a spelling test today.   He did good!
  • We visited Dad and made some popcorn shrimp and  stuffed pepper while we were there.
