The men at our home (husband and son) are the "sweet teeth" in the family. They always crave for something sweet when we get done eating a hearty meal or even for a snack, they want something sweet. That is why I was delighted when I was given an opportunity to try different kinds of Artisanal Belgian Chocolates from GuyLian.
Whenever I try a product for the first time, I am always interested in learning their story. I always read the history of their company, on how it started. The name GuyLian is a combination of the name of the founders, the husband and wife, Guy and Lian Foubert. Guy was a passionate Belgian Chocolatier who makes handmade chocolate truffles in Sin-Niklaas, Belgium. In 1958, Guy and Lian got married and started their small artisanal chocolate maker company. Fast forward, 55 years later, their company crafts the finest authentic Belgian chocolate truffles which is being enjoyed by chocolate lovers around the world.

They sent me a big package of different kinds (as shown above) of chocolates and mind you, only few are left now. We have been savoring the richness of it. I must admit, I am not your typical chocolate lover girl but I like some of their chocolates.

There is one that is specially wrapped and my daughter gave it to her teacher. She said that she loves it, but then again, who wouldn't? They are incredibly good!

Hubby and I are surprised that our son and daughter even liked the dark chocolate ones. MY husband is not crazy about dark chocolates, I tried them and they were as god as the other ones.

My favorite ones are the milk chocolates ones, the sweetness and richness of it is just right for my pallet.

I also love the creamy chocolate truffles that are designed into seashells. These reminds me of home because of the seashell design, it makes me feel like I am at home walking in the sand picking some astray seashells in the seashore. Oh it is a great feeling to feed both your pallet and your thoughts!
I highly recommend Guylian, the Artisanal Belgian Chocolates. You should try the world's favorite Belgian chocolate, I am sure, you will love it too as much as we do!
