Toron with Langka

I found  a stock of plantain in the store when we had our grocery shopping the other day.  I bought a couple and then let it ripe at home.  I also bought extra lumpia wrappers and bottled jackfruit when we shopped at Oriental store in Pittsburgh.
"Toron is not a toron without langkah" according to hubby who loves this kind of  Philippine merienda.  The langka or jackfruit sweetened the plantain (plantain is not  sweet  compared to saba).
Yummy!

  12. Wow and double wow. Turon with langka is one of my all time favorite snacks. Banana and langka complement each other so well that the resulting fare is so delicious and heavenly. Have you ever tasted turong munggong pula? They're also so heavenly. Naku baka lalo akong tumaba nito. Baka hindi na ako makilala ni misis pag balik niya dito, lol. Thanks for the usual yummy post. Thanks din pala na number one ako ngayon sa top contributor mo but as always. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. God bless you all always.
