I bought this rice cake mix at the Oriental store in Pittsburgh last time. Now, I never had an experience making bibingka before but that's what directions are for right?
I told my burritos that I will try to make abibingka and they both jumped up and help.She even tried the unbaked mix wahhhh.
Now this is what it looks like when baked. It doesn't look like a real bibingka but what can we do, we're not in the Philippines hehehe.
It wasn't bad though, they actually tasted pretty good.
Always remember....

Hehe, excited si Rylie. Mukhang pancake na mukhang mamon nga Ateh kasi used ata tau sa puting bibingka, puti ba bibingka sa inyo? Pero kung palapad cguro yan bibingka talaga kc ganyan hitsura ng bibingka na nakita ko sa Tarlac yellow.

ReplyDeletei think you could have put grated coconut or cheese on top. well, as you said, what can we do, nothing beats the original bibingka in philippines. those are some small reasons you want to go back home :)

naku magkakasundo pala buritos mo dito sa bunso ko.. ang yummy naman niyan... sarap nga, kahit di pa luto, nag taste test na haha.

Parehas lang yan basta lalagyan mo nang itlog na maalat at keso at bubudburan nang grated coconut. Parang authentic bibingka na rin. Nakakatuwa naman ang dalawang chikiting mo na tumulong pa sa iyo sa pagbake nang bibingka. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
