Turn a Plain WAffle into a Fun Breakfast

I cooked breakfast most of the times but there are days that my kids crave for  waffles.  I always pair it with  fresh fruits and they like that.  They also love it when I  do a little  art in their waffles just like these ones.  I love my waffles with peanut butter, bananas  and honey.  They love theirs with  maple syrup. 
How about you guys, do you serve waffles for breakfast to your kids.  One thing that I would love to  buy soon is a waffle maker.  It would be nice to  make my own waffle instead of buying the frozen ones.
