Rice Noodles

In the Philippines, rice noodles or pancit, is one common food that we have during birthdays. Old folks said that it's for long life.  Some uses spaghetti instead of pancit but over here, spaghetti is an ordinary  food, so  Filipinos still prefers the pancit (at least I do).  I cooked this during Mr. Burrito's birthday.

February 6, 2012:

  • Posting this  quick while me and Mr. Burrito  are on break with our lessons.  Will update this later.  Me and Mr. Burrito made his name out of clay dough and   glued it to one of his photo frame, it was pretty neat.  That was our project after our reading class.
  • I sauteed  upo (cooking gourd) with a can of sardines and we ate it with rice.  The kids  also had  Beefaroni  before  that.
  • I have to make two posts and will go to bed soon.

    Yes, I have tasted a pancit before that used spaghetti noodles instead of bihon noodles. I guess it depends on one's mood or preference. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

    It's called Bee Hoon here and there's so many way of cooking them. Almost a must when having party to serve this versatile noodle.
