WoW Butter

When our son was about 9 months old, he got an allergic reaction and swelled up  so quick that  I thought we were going to lose him.  It scared me to death as he was gasping for air.  His throat  swelled up and so is his whole body that if we did not  brought him to the hospital, it could have end up in a bad scenario.

It was a family holiday gathering at my  father-in-law's house.  Someone  tried to make him try something and it caused  him an immediate allergic reaction.  We were not sure what it was but the doctor suspected that it was peanut.  He said that even just a trace of peanut in a food could do it.  He was given an steroid to stop the swelling and after few hours, he was okay.  After that incident, we  guard him like a hawk on what he eats  because it terrified us.

Nowadays, my son would not even want to look at a peanut butter jar.  So I thought that  this  Wow Butter would be a perfect replacement for peanut butter.  Unfortunately, my son  don't want to try it no matter how I told him that it does not have  peanut butter in it.  It tastes like peanut butter without the actual peanut in it.  I love it though.  I am always fond of  eating  sandwiches with peanut butter  but when  my son got an allergic reaction  5 years ago, we tried not to buy peanut butter at all.

Wow Butter has a natural source of omega 3, an essential fatty acid.  It also contains better quality  protein than peanut butter.  The facility where Wow Butter is being produced is  100% Peanut Free, Tree Nut Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free and Dairy Free!

Every jar of this Wow Butter has school lunch stickers.  I think that hubby and I are the only one at home that would consume  these because my daughter got an allergic  reaction before when she  was a baby  from a soy milk so when she read what this is made of, she immediately backed out.  The doctor   advised us that we can let them try products  that caused them an allergic reaction to see if they are over  it or  has grown out of it but we are  so cautious that we don't do it.

Anyway, I made some cracker snacks   and tried it and oh WOW (literally), it does taste like peanut butter.  I  instantly love it and  has been putting it my cracker snacks every day.

So are you ready to try Wow Butter?  I bet you would love it too as much as I do!  I have seen from a friend's blog  that she   used this in making  cookies so I might  try that technique so my son would be able to  enjoy this yummy butter.

For those who are interested, get in touch with them by liking Wow Butter in Facebook.  Thank you so much Wow Butter!

  3. What do they use for the peanut flavor? Our pediatricians told us not to try peanuts, fish, chocolate and another food till we get the go-ahead.

  17. We just ordered some to use just to see how it works for the traditional peanut butter cookies. It would be nice to have peanut butter cookies that do not include actual peanuts.
