Manic Monday

Hey there everyone, it was a manic Monday for me. It's past midnight and I just have now the time to peek at my blog.  We did some errands  this morning then went grocery shopping in the afternoon, whew!  Below is a  quick snap I took of the display  at the Chinese Resto that we went to in Orlando Florida last year.

March 5, 2012:

• My lovelies are now asleep but I am still up.  I still have tow loads of laundry  going on right now and I have to finish it before I go to bed.  This will give me time to  update my blogs a little and maybe bloghop if time permits.
• We sent money to my family in the Philippines this morning.  My youngest sister is  taking finals this month and needed to pay the tuition, boarding house rent, and her allowance.    I am glad our income tax return came in this morning.  I paid off the balance of one of our  loans  that has interest.  We still have two  to pay but I am not worried in paying  them off as it doesn't have interest.
• We went to Tractor supply and look ed if they are selling bunnies already but they said that they won't sell any this year.  We are trying to find Wubzy a girlfriend so he won't be lonely.
• We visited my FIL after we went grocery shopping.  Then I started  doing laundry after putting the groceries away.
• We dined out @ Eat 'n Park .

Banana

Banana is the common name for herbaceous plants of the genus Musa and for the fruit they produce.  I often wonder why banana is called a tree.  The photo was taken in Orlando Florida.

March 4, 2012:

• Last month, we did not attend  any Sunday mass  due to the stomach flu that   all of us got.  
• We started on  another puzzle this morning  but we had to stop  so we could go to church.
• We  went to Dad's after mass and had  dinner with him and my SIL's family.  Thanks Chris for the wonderful dinner.  We stayed there for the rest of the afternoon.  We came home past 6 already.

Mashed Potatoes

My husband and daughter love mashed potatoes. Me and my son isn't so fond of it but I make it once in a while when they crave for it. I made some beef steak, boiled corn, and mashed potaties for dinner yesterday.  I put some cheese, milk, and butter on the mashed potatoes, the two ate it all lol.

March 3, 2012:

• We finished another box of 500 puzzle. This one only took us two days unlike the first one.   It was our family project this weekend.  I wasn't able to  really blog yesterday and today.  I just now have the time to peek  in here.
• We visited my FIL after I gave our dog , Champ, a bath.  Max is still in agony from his surgery.
• We ate chili at Dad's he made a big pot.  My FIL can make a really good chili!

Cake Keeper

We have two sweet tooth individuals at home so there is always sweets. We bought this cake keeper to store sweets!

March 2, 2012:

• Hubby did not go to school today.  We have to bring Max to the Vet again this morning.  We are about to leave in ten minutes.  
• We visited  my FIL on our way from the Vet, he was happy we stayed a bit longer.
• I got hooked up with  building another  box of 500 pieces  puzzle.  Did not   stop till midnight, whew.
• Max's surgery costs us a  big chunk of money, now I am broke wahhh.

Anahaw

I took a snap of this anahw plants in Disney World last year when we had our vacation. Upon seeing it, it brought back some memories of my childhood. We have so many anahaw in the Philippines especially in the place where I grew up. We uses anahaw for roofing purposes.

March 1, 2012:

• Welcome to the first day of March.
• Did my laundry today (just got done folding it).
• We brought Mx to the Vet  for check up about his broken leg, I feel bad for the little guy.
• We visited my FIL on our way from the Vet.
• We swung by at the drive thru of the McDo after Ms. Burrito's dance lessons.  I did not check the order they gave us when they handed it to us only to realized that they gave us the wrong order.  Hubby was  upset so he took it back, he took to the manager and they  apologized and gave hubby an extra freebie.
• My head  has been aching since yesterday, I think it's a sinus  headache because it's different from a migraine pain.
