Home Made Tocino

Lately, hubby was craving for tocino. I can't cook any because we did not find any at the oriental store. However, I remember buying a tocino mix the last time we went to the store so I tried to make some. I bought a pack of pork stew meat and follow the direction from the Mam sita pack. I marinated it for 24 hours and cooked it the next morning.

Thanks to these packages because we can really be a good cook even if we don't know how to cook lol.
The result was fabulous. EJ and Rylie even liked it! To add a little twist, I sprinkled some steak seasoning when I was cooking it.

Hubby and Rylie ate it with rice and egg while I ate mine with Kimchee hehehe. I am not really fond of sweet stuff so to cntrast the sweetness of the tocino, I ate it with something spicy.

I know, it's not really a homemade because I used some tocino mix but let's just pretend that it is lol.

Have a safe and fun weekend everyone.
Just remember....

that a little bit of this
and a little dash of that
makes a sumptuous life...
